Abstract

The present work presents a general analysis of the political andadministrative context of the local councils of Cieza, Abarán and Blanca (Vega Alta del Segura, Región de Murcia) during the modern age and their respective competencies anddevelopments. This content is accompanied by two planes of the Town Hall of Abarán, reflecting the different functionalities that hosts this civil building, and interlinking concepts parallel to provisioning capabilities, intervention operations and corporate structural evolutions of these local councils. For this purpose the use of historical documentation from the municipal archives of these villas and the General file of Murcia has been essential.
