Abstract
Study of the contemporary Spanish art exhibition in Buenos Aires in 1947, one of the first events in which we can trace the exploitation of the avant-garde by the Franco regime. Analysis of organizational issues and art selection, as well as research of the critics’ reviews based on the original sources. Updating of the historiography appeared around it and suggestion of new interpretative parameters from the point of view of “the spanishness”.Downloads
