Aportaciones documentales al patrimonio textil de la Basílica de Santa maría de Elche
Abstract
This article wants to put on relevancy, from the point of view of documents, an unknown and underestimated heritage: thetextiles of the Saint Mary’s churche of Elche, including the preserved pieces but also the lost ones, known by documentary testimo-nies, allowing calibrating that luxurious heritage. It’s a condition of question about the study of textile heritage of Elche, analyzingthe Altar’s ornaments, the chapel’s pieces and the episode about appearance of the religious images, with one of the most importantexamples: the Virgin of Asuncion.Downloads
