TRAZADOS DE BAJA Y ALTA SINUOSIDAD EN RIOS ESPAÑOLES
Abstract
This article focuses on the channel pattems of high and low sinuousity in Spanish rivers. Firstly it aims to establish a typology and then considers in detail both straight, less sinuous channels and meandering ones, trying to link the rate of sinuousity to the slope of the riverbed and to the degrees of confinement and deviation of the channel. The analysis of meandering pattem attempts also to define their geomehical parameters, the frequency distribution of the meanders' size and, finally, to identify the specially dynamic stretchs.Downloads
