Capacidad funcional y autocuidado de pacientes con insuficiencia cardíaca: una revisión de alcance
Resumen
Objetivo: Mapear as evidências científicas sobre a relação entre capacidade funcional e autocuidado em pacientes com insuficiência cardíaca.
Métodos: Uma revisão de escopo foi conduzida de acordo com o Instituto Joanna Briggs e orientada para o PRISMA-ScR. Foram pesquisadas sete bases de dados eletrônicas e literatura da década de 50. Estudos primários com adultos (com 18 anos ou mais) diagnosticados com insuficiência cardíaca, publicados em qualquer idioma, foram incluídos para seleção independente e duplo-cega.
Resultados: Foram incluídos estudos de Dezoito foram. O autocuidado foi avaliado predominantemente pelo Índice de Autocuidado para Insuficiência Cardíaca. A capacidade funcional foi avaliada principalmente pela classificação funcional da New York Heart Association. A relação entre os dois é complexa e variada, com correlações positivas, negativas ou ausentes.
Conclusão: Relação entre capacidade funcional e autocuidado em pacientes com insuficiência cardíaca heterogênea. Compreender a relação entre autocuidado e capacidade funcional pode orientar profissionais de saúde na avaliação e no desenvolvimento de intervenções personalizadas (educação, apoio ao exercício, motivação) para pacientes com insuficiência cardíaca.
