Abstract
A finales del siglo XIX y principios del siglo XX, varias décadas después de la independencia de los países latinoamericanos, los escritores e intelectuales argentinos –los latinoamericanos, en general- continuaban preocupados por encontrar las claves de su “americanidad”. Numerosos fueron los que dedicaron sus esfuerzos a ahondar en esta cuestión, y no sólo argentinos, sino también extranjeros, como Waldo Frank (España virgen, América Hispana), José Ortega y Gasset (La Pampa... promesas, El hombre a la defensiva) o Herman Keyserling (Diario de viaje de un filósofo, Meditaciones Sudamericanas).Downloads
