El tigre como lo exótico: Un estudio sobre la metáfora del tigre en 'Songs of innocence and of experience' de William Blake y 'El oro de los tigres' de Jorge Luis Borges
Abstract
Este ensayo trabajará, pues, con la idea de que, en la colección de poemas El oro de los tigres -y especialmente en el poema que le da nombre a la colección- Jorge Luis Borges reformulará la tradición romántica británica del poema “The Tyger” de William Blake, en Songs of Innocence and of Experience, para que, en lugar de que el tigre sea la metáfora de lo exótico que simboliza lo sanguinario y malvado, el tigre sea la metáfora de lo exótico que dota a esta pieza de literatura argentina -de la identidad argentina- de un cosmopolitismo que pretende insertarla en la literatura universal.Downloads
