"El invencible verano de Liliana" by Cristina Rivera Garza, between family lexicon and feminist archive
Abstract
The article studies El invencible verano de Liliana (2021), by Cristina Rivera Garza, from the perspective of theories on the documentary turn and archive. From this perspective, it proposes that the author's use of heterogeneous materials represents continuity with her previous theoretical approaches, starting in 2013, but, at the same time, aims to create a new shared language to oppose violence patriarchal.
