Roberto Arlt, lector de Pirandello
Abstract
Si partimos del hecho de que un disfraz social oculta nuestra verdadera identidad, rápidamente llegamos a la conclusión de que es difícil deslindar el ser del parecer. Esa máscara -a veces única, otras múltiple- puede haber sido creada por uno mismo o impuesta por los demás, pero en cualquier caso provoca la tragedia de no conocerse y de no poder comunicarse con otros y, por añadidura, nos acerca a la soledad existencial. Enrico IV (1920) de Luigi Pirandello y Saverio el cruel (1936) de Roberto Arlt llevan a escena la dualidad entre ficción y realidad, entre personaje y hombre.
