LA OBRA TEATRAL DE PIÑERA DESDE LA ÓPTICA DE PIRANDELLO: PROCEDIMIENTOS METADRAMÁTICOS Y PERSONAJES AUTOCONSCIENTES
Abstract
El teatro de Virgilio Piñera conecta con el de Luigi Pirandello en el interés otorgado a los procedimientos metradramáticos y a los personajes conscientes de su naturaleza. Lo lúdico adquiere importancia esencial en representaciones teatrales de los propios personajes, ceremonias, cambios de roles y alusiones literarias e históricas. Estos aspectos, a los que se une el inmovilismo de los personajes, son estudiados en siete obras de Piñera: Electra Garrigó (1941), Jesús (1948), Falsa alarma (1948), Aire frío (1959), El no (1965), Dos viejos pánicos (1967) y Una caja de zapatos vacía (1968).
