 Review process

All manuscripts submitted are initially checked by one or several members of the Editorial Board to determine whether they meet the requirements for authors set by the journal. Once being approved in this initial phase, manuscripts will undergo a double blind peer-review process. Reviewers, who cannot be part of the Editorial Board,  have a maximum of six weeks to communicate their decision on the manuscript. In the event of major discrepancies between the two reviewers’ decisions, the Editor will invite a third reviewer before making a final decision.

Based on the reviewers’ reports, the Editorial Board will decide whether to accept or reject the manuscript or ask the author for minor or major revisions. Authors will be sent a justified and detailed decision report which, when applicable, will include specific instructions on the aspects to modify, together with the assessment of the submitted work according to the criteria made public by the journal.

The acceptance date of the manuscript will include the time authors devoted to undertaking suggested revisions.

The journal does not have either article submission charges or article processing charges (APCs).
