Abstract

The coastal area of Castellón, in ancient times divided between the territories of Dertosa and Saguntum, is occupied by a rural settlement spread. In this area more than 180 sites are known, of different types and categories, of which only twelve offer clues or evidences of the installations for the production of wine and oil. In this paper we present a summary of known archaeological remains that may be related with this type of activities.
