(A METHOD OF COMPUTATION OF IDENTY COEFFICIENTS ON EXTENDED PEDIGREES)
Abstract
According to BOYCE (1983) review and classifications of methods for computing inbreeding, kinship and identity coefficients of extended pedigrees, it is proposed a new method for computing identity coefficients that is related to those than detect common ancestors by path searching methods. The method is based on some relationships between possible combinations of origin of the genes and identity situations from which the simplification of calculations are possible by using a computer.Downloads
