A STUDY OF SERUM IONS (CA, P, MG) IN BLOOD FROM BONE MARROW OF DOGS WITH FRACTURES OF LONG BONES
Abstract
The changes of the serum concentration of phosphorus, calcium and magnesium after the experimental fractures in dogs were studied, and their le veis were compared between flowing blood and that of bone marrow. After a experimental fracture decreased levels of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium in flowing blood and bone marrow were observed. The levels of calcium and magnesium of flowing blood were decreased during the whole trial whereas that of phosphorus rise at the end of the trial.Downloads
