Abstract

Inscribed in the debate laicismo-anticlericalismo, the substitution of the religious teaching -consequence of the Law of 17 May of 1932- knew the changes characteristic of the dynamic politics of the republican period. After their projet and first studies during the biennium social-azañista, the electoral victory of the conservative option delayed their setting in practice. Recovered during the stage of the Popular Front -ministerial Order of 28 of February of 1936- could lead to term, although wrapped up in the difficulties derived of the Civil War.
