Abstract

The autor of this article tries to show us an educational experience with youngsters in a high risk of social exclusion. This expierence was developed through a Program of Academic and Personal Orientation at a High School located in a very singular district with these characteristics: social exclusion, poverty, different ethnic groups living together, interculturality, high rate of scholar failure, early school leave,… With this educational experience the implication of all the community of the district in the learning process has been achieved; not only teachers and parents but also social services, the residents´ association and the rest of the district have helped through a voluntary social work to this Program.
