Abstract

The Roma community is the largest ethnic minority in Europe. It is also probably the most marginalised minority, due to its deteriorated housing situation, low level of education, precarious labour conditions and lower quality of life. Majority society has a slight knowledge about the Roma community and less acknowledgement towards it. The Roma suffer from serious and grave prejudices and stereotypes. They feel rejection and discrimination more than anyone can bear. Even though, the Roma community holds out and presses us to change the strategies of relationship with other different ones.
