ESPAÑOLES EN LOS BAJOS PIRINEOS: EXILIADOS REPUBLICANOS Y DIPLOMATICOS FRANQUISTAS ANTE FRANCESES Y ALEMANES (1939-1945)

The objetive of this article centers his analysis in the performance and diversity of attitudes of the diplomacy francoist in France with respect to the Spanish exile community. Structured in two paragraphs, the first approaches the tragic experiences lived by the republican exiles (concentration fields; repatriations; utilization as labor...) and the attitudes that before these displayed the diplomats francoist in France; to the time that also is analyzed their positioning before the sefarditas spanish and other groups of exiles (basque and catalan); in the second paragraph are indicated the problems caused to the spanish exile comunity with the labor tour effected by the german occupation forces and the diplomatic action francoist derivative from this phenomenon. To obtain the proposed objetive has been appealed to the historiography on the topic, as well as to documental sources of French and Spanish files and to verbal testimonies.Downloads
