Abstract

After the Annual disaster, in july 1921, spanish society suffered the tragedy brought about by defeat: human lives, material a moral losses. However, another consequence which will be selt in the country is the number of prisioners held captive in Abd-el-Krim intervention throught different personsalities, in order to free prisioners varied from institutional involvement of different governments to the personal efforts of Father Revilla, the Hipólito Jiménez lawyer with his pistols to king Alfonso XIII, etc. On the other hand, the subject of the sapnish captives in the hands of the riffians always a theme present in the negotiations between Spain and Abd-el-Krim in 1925.
