Abstract

The youth’s intercultural training constitutes one of the most important challenges in the XXIth century society. For this reason, this paper aims at analyzing and answering how the intercultural education development can be implemented during the Compulsory Secondary Schooling stage. In this way, the first step will consist of questioning the existing teaching practice via several action-research projects that allow to identify the strong and week points of the process and to contribute to the necessary changes to achieve a more democratic and intercultural education. With this aim, «the Self evaluation Guide of intercultural Contexts for Secondary Education» will be provided as an effective tool to detect to what extent interculturality is developed in secondary schools.
