The Effects of the Application of Article 16.4 of Law 53/1984 on Incompatibilities, in the Recognition of Compatibility for Members of the Security Forces and Corps
Abstract
This paper examines the different legal treatment given to Local Police officers compared to other police forces concerning the recognition of compatibility for the professional practice of Law. This analysis is conducted in light of the jurisprudential doctrine resulting from the application of Article 16.4 of Law 53/1984, of December 26, on Incompatibilities of Personnel in the Service of Public Administrations.
