JUSTICE AND POWER (THEM PLAIDEURS FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF A JURIST)
Abstract
Taking as a starting point the relationship between Law and Literature, these pages propose a reflection on some humane vices which have concrete and extremely dangerous repercussions on the Administration of Justice. These negative effects have bothered jurists and statesmen since ever and still do. The literary piece chosen for the occasion is Racine´s Les Plaideurs, an acid criticism of the judicial customs and abuses in the Ancient France.Downloads
