Abstract

In this chronicle we revise the activity of the territorial Parliament of Murcia during the year 2010, the fourth year of its term of office. We emphasize the partial reform of the Statutes of Personnel and Internal Regulation of the Region of Murcia and the passing of several laws containing a series of measures to fight against the effects of the economic recession; among them we draw particular attention to the Act No. 1 of 2010 (Ley 1/2010, de 28 de junio) modifying the Autonomous Community of Murcia Budget Act 2009 (Ley 14/2009, de 23 de diciembre) for the budget year 2010, and the Extraordinary Measures for the Sustainability of Public Finance Act 2010 (Ley 5/2010, de 27 de diciembre).
