Abstract

In this paper we provide descriptive evidence on the labour market for highly skilled workers. We analyze the migration trends in Spain in recent years. We also analyze the specific variables that affect the interest to migrate, and the role played by regulation in the selection of the destination country. We obtain some conclusions regarding how interesting is Spain as a destiny for highly qualified migrants.
