International Journal of Advertising, Consumer Culture, and Brands, vol. 1, no. 1
This journal launches with the submission of articles and reviews for its inaugural issue, to be published in May 2026. Trenden Journal is published by TrendenLab, the Corporate Communication and Consumer Research Group at the University of Murcia (E053-09). Its objective is to promote knowledge and the latest advances in this field for institutions and companies, as well as to facilitate effective solutions in strategic planning and corporate communication.
In this first miscellaneous issue, manuscripts with multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches, original perspectives, and rigorous and innovative contributions at the theoretical, methodological, or analytical level are especially valued. The areas of interest, which align with those of the Research Group, include studies on: Advertising; Public Relations; Consumer Culture; Branding; Corporate Identity and Visual Identity; Consumer Trends; Communication Strategies; Advertising Creativity; Mass Culture; Advertising Discourse; Propaganda; Semiotics of Advertising; Artificial Intelligence, as well as all approaches that foster a productive dialogue between researchers and social agents in the field of Social Communication. We prioritize research conducted in Spain and Latin America.

Manuscripts are accepted in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. All accepted articles will be published in their original language, although they must include an abstract in the other two accepted languages. Manuscripts must be written following the publication guidelines outlined in the section: Author Guidelines.
