Use of Artificial Intelligence

Trenden Journal establishes the following guidelines on the use of AI and declares that it fully supports the Guide to the Use of Artificial Intelligence provided by COPE:

• Authors must explicitly state whether they have used AI at any stage of the research and writing process. Journals should require authors to specify how and to what extent they used AI, whether for analyzing data, generating text or processing references.
• COPE makes it clear that AI cannot be considered the author of an article because it cannot assume ethical responsibility or respond to issues of scientific integrity. Editors must ensure that all contributions are human, even if AI has been used as an auxiliary tool.
• AI cannot be used to generate scientific content.
• Authors must state whether they have used AI and in what ways in the methodology section.
• The use of AI in article evaluation and editorial decision-making is prohibited.
