Análisis de los valores de agilidad, velocidad y potencia en jóvenes futbolistas
Resumen
El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo investigar los valores de agilidad, velocidad y potencia en futbolistas en función del género y la edad. Para ello, se evaluaron los resultados de medición de un total de 208 futbolistas con edades comprendidas entre los 12 y 16 años. Se encontró una diferencia estadísticamente significativa entre los valores de salto, agilidad, velocidad y potencia de los futbolistas según el género (p<0.001). También se halló una diferencia significativa en los valores de salto, agilidad, velocidad y potencia de los futbolistas masculinos en función de la edad (p<0.001). No se encontró una diferencia significativa en los valores de agilidad de las futbolistas según la edad (p>0.05), pero sí se observó una diferencia significativa en los valores de salto, sprint y potencia (p<0.001). Los valores de salto vertical de los futbolistas mostraron una correlación positiva con los valores de potencia anaeróbica y aeróbica, y una correlación negativa con la agilidad, los tiempos de carrera de 10 y 20 metros y el porcentaje de grasa corporal (p<0.001). La correlación positiva del porcentaje de grasa corporal con la prueba de agilidad y los valores de carrera de 10 y 20 metros fue significativa (p<0.001). Los valores de velocidad, agilidad y potencia de los futbolistas masculinos fueron superiores a los de las futbolistas femeninas. Se observó un incremento en estos valores con el aumento de la edad. Se recomienda realizar estudios orientados a mejorar la agilidad de las futbolistas femeninas a medida que aumenta la edad.
