Estrategias mentales y bienestar: la dinámica de las supersticiones y los pensamientos obsesivos en deportistas de equipo e individuales

Resumen

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo examinar los efectos de las dinámicas psicológicas, en particular las supersticiones (pensamientos o conductas repetitivas) y las obsesiones (símbolos de buena suerte, rituales), sobre el bienestar subjetivo (salud mental y satisfacción general) de las personas que practican deportes de equipo e individuales. La investigación utilizó un diseño transversal. Un total de 373 atletas (177 mujeres y 196 hombres) participaron en el estudio. Las edades de los participantes oscilaron entre 18 y 35 años, con una media de 23,7 años. La experiencia deportiva promedio fue de 7,4 años. Los instrumentos de recolección de datos incluyeron el Cuestionario de Creencias Obsesivas, la Escala de Actitudes hacia el Comportamiento Supersticioso en el Deporte y la Escala de Bienestar Subjetivo. Los resultados revelaron diferencias estadísticamente significativas en los niveles de superstición, las creencias obsesivas y el bienestar subjetivo entre los atletas de deportes de equipo e individuales (p < 0,05). También se identificaron los efectos de los niveles de superstición y obsesión sobre el bienestar subjetivo. Estos hallazgos sugieren que las dinámicas mentales de los atletas pueden diferir según el tipo de deporte, y que estas dinámicas pueden tener un impacto significativo en su bienestar subjetivo.
