Abstract

The Syrian Revolution –neither revolt, nor rebellion- started in March 2011 and it bore a very simple demand: living with dignity. However, the special geopolitical position of Syria, the growing complexity of the crisis and its prolongation and the interference of various actors, have skewed the initial postulates of the revolution, which activists are working today to recuperate in order to save the revolution itself and the country, a complex enterprise due to the international connivance to make the revolution fail.
