Abstract

This article aims to present how the implementation of the single school day directly and indirectly affects the mental health conditions and comprehensive well-being of teachers in public educational institutions, considering that this phenomenon is configured from the interaction between organizational, regulatory and contextual factors; Because extending the day without addressing the real conditions in which teachers inhabit their institutions is, at best, nothing more than political naivety and, at worst, a silent form of institutional violence that the Colombian State has normalized under the rhetoric of educational progress.
