Abstract

This paper starts with an analysis of the new Spanish legal framework and the recommendations of different agencies, from the more general european level down to the more local, including the universities’ proposals and practices. A discussion of some aspects of the evaluation that should be taken into account in the light of acummulated experience so that it may improve teaching quality is also offered. From this background an evaluation framework is proposed including some contents that should be assessed as well as some methodological considerations. Finally, the need to adapt this proposals to each university in an atmosphere of cooperation is emphasized.
