Abstract

The Granada war had political and social consequences in Murcia, above all during the expedition of 1488 against the Muslim King of Guadix. In that expedition Murcia was the military base, so for this reason the Catholic Kings stayed there. This article studies the repercussions of Murcia’s contributions to the royal troops, the soldiers’ salaries and other aspects regarding the troops supplying.
