Abstract

One of the most important personages in the last years of the kingdom of Peter I of Castile was Mr. Martín López de Córdoba. His loyalty to the Spanish monarch is meaningful, which enabled to promote quickly from the lowest royal trades and even becoming the Master of the Orders of Alcántara and Calatrava, as well as the Adelantado Mayor de Murcia, thanks to his service in the war between Castile and Aragon and his intervention in the intrigues of Henry of Trastámara.
