El ritual de la Bay'a en el Occidente y Oriente islámicos (siglos VIII-XV): una aproximación comparativa
Resumen
El objetivo fundamental de este estudio es ofrecer una perspectiva comparada entre Oriente y el Occidente islámicos en torno al ritual de la bay‘a, optando por un marco cronológico amplio (ss. VIII-XV). La idea es extraer los diversos elementos que integran el acto y buscar diferencias y similitudes para establecer una serie de conclusiones. El mundo cristiano también cuenta con interesantes datos sobre los ascensos y entronizaciones. En la medida de lo posible, examinaremos algunos aspectos y elementos que merecen ser confrontados con el mundo islámico.
