Abstract

The article deals with the publicacions addressed to the female public of an Argentinian publisher, Abril Publishers. From children books and cartoons (such as Donald Duck and Salgari) in 1948 the Publishers went to publish illustrated novels (such as Idilio) and at the end of the 50s, fashion and current events magazines (such as Claudia). The article is mainly based on the experiences of women and men that worked in the Abril Publisher and the magazine analysis. It tries to rescue the women role in the production and cultural consumption in the peronist time.
