Abstract

This study is made through the causes of divorce that were presented in Colombia in the mid XIX century keeping in mind the meaning that the presence and the evolution of the possibility of agreement in the life of the couple might have and in the social evolution of conducts and practices of solidarity, tolerance, resistance and rejection of family violence thinking of the construction of a state of right.
