Abstract

During the last years, natural growth figures in developed countries show a clear reduction. The main reasons are a lower birth rate and the increase in death rate because of the ageing of the population. This work shows some of the cosequences of this reduction on Murcia population, as a whole and also distinguishing between male and female population. Short term prospects are presented as well.
