ASPECTOS DE LA DEGRADACIÓN DEL MEDIO AMBIENTE: SU INFLUENCIA EN EL CLIMA
Abstract
Environmental degradation is fact which has recently arisen an unprecedented interest. Institutions, organizations, environmentalists, non-governmental organizations, scientists, etc., are studying in depth the causes of and solutions to the degradation of rain forests, prairies, steppes, savannahs, as well as the accumulation of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and global warming, analysing the consequences at a human, political, economic and climatic level. Soil erosion and lands turning into desserts especially in dry areas is a problem of a great magnitude. Air pollution due to the greater use of fossil fuels produces acid rain, ozone layer depletion, greenhouse effect, the rise of global temperatures, etc.Downloads
