LA CONVERGENCIA ESTADÍSTICA O LA DISTORSIÓN DE LA REALIDAD DE LAS REGIONES EUROPEAS. EL CASO DE ESPAÑA
Abstract
Spatial planning has emerged as an important issue on the EU policy agenda. Regional diversity, unsettled challenges and the impact of the enlargement are other issues which are redefining the Community regional policy. The European Spatial Development Perspective (ESDP) has developed a strategy to steer the development of the European territory; the Agenda 2000 included some policy modifications to undertake; the launch of the conclusions of The White Paper on Governance, all together are going to design the new scenario. The effects of the enlargement and the future changes in the structural programmes (possibly negative for Spain) and specially the Spanish Presidency this year are issues to take into account in a short term.Downloads
