EL REGADÍO EN EL UMBRAL DEL SIGLO XXI: PLANES DE MEJORAS Y MODERNIZACIÓN
Abstract
In Spain there is a serious misfit in the relationship between water resources and water demand, especially in areas like the South-east of the Iberian Peninsula. In order to tjghten up that relationship, a series of plans for the improvement and modernisation of the irrigation system have been programmed and developed. This is a combined effort by the Cornrnunities of Irrigators and the Authorities on the main water consumer in order to free resources and achieve greater efficiency in the watering system. More than a million inigated hectars are in the process of change, as they try to adapt to and meet the demandas of the 21 st century.Downloads
