Abstract

Maritime wind storms are atmospheric episodes scarcely valued on scientific works of natural desasters in spite of serious consequences that annually cause in spanish coast. Mediterránean coasts are sometimes whipped for east wind storms that causes abundant losses in the litoral economic activities. In this work we propose a geographical work method for the analysis of east wind storms in alicantine coasts; we value the change in risk perception along present century. The work include a map of coastal risk sectors opposite to east wind storms in Alicante province.
