EROSION Y ESCORRENTÍA EN EL CAMPO EXPERIMENTAL DE «EL ARDALD (MURCIA). NUEVE AÑOS DE EXPERIENCIAS
Abstract
The values of soil erosion and runoff in the Experimental Field of «The Ardal» (Murcia, SE Spain) are analysed, after nine record years. The experiences have been carried out in 17 plots installed with different orientation, slope, vegetation cover, use of the soil and managing. The obtained results show erosion rates and runoff coefficient low, consequence of the characteristics of soil and vegetable cover specific of «The Ardal». Nevertheless, it is important to mention different response of each plot according to the percentage of vegetable or stony cover, and the use of the soil to the fact that is devoted. It is verified the use of the soil as one of the greater influence factors on the erosion processes, greater ever that the slope. It is necessary to say the fragility that have soils devoted to cultivation of dryness cereal, and the importance of using good agrarian practices. It has been found a good correlation between runoff and losses of soil, while the correlation is not good between the total rainfall and the runoff or erosion. The factor of control more important is the mean intensity with the one which is produced the rain.Downloads
