EL NIÑO 1997-98 Y SU IMPACTO CLIMÁTICO GLOBAL
Abstract
Scientific oceanic-atmosperic aspects of EL NIÑO 1997-1998, considered of extraordinary magnitude, are studied and, in the same way, its effect in the climatic earthy system. This eveni can be evaluated as the most intense of our century, as a thermal anomaly in the central equatonal Pacific even 3.9' . EL NIÑO has been one of the most outstanding factors that contnbuted to the increase of the mean temperature in the earthy surface in 1997, it has reached the highest value registered in the XXth Century (more than 0,44"c), in relation to the period 1961-1990.Downloads
