Abstract

This paper examines the temtorial features of the in-bond plants (IBP) in contemporary Mexico. The first part of the paper exposes the theoretical positions underlying this research, followed by an overview of the geographical distribution of IBP, both in terms of the number of plants and job creation, along the Mexico-US borderlands. The last section reveals the direction of IBP territorial linkages, already trigged towards the hterior of Mexico.
