Abstract

They are studied the most relevant aspects of de Valley and Harbor of Escombreras (SE Spain). It is made clear that not only tectonic and lithology but also the wind conditioned the most significative relief forms previous to recent alluvial deposits. It is interesting to point out as a part of the present valley suffered the effect of a marine transgression during the Upper Pleistocene, and, after, when the sea get withdrawn, they were left deposits like marine-aeolian, aeolian-colluvial, colluvial-alluvial and lacustrine-alluvial ones.
