EL OLIVAR: EQUILIBRIO PRECARIO DE UNA PIEZA DE ENORME INTERÉS PAISAJISTICO Y AGROLÓGICO
Abstract
In the occidental side of Montes de Toledo, mountainous zone where soils do not allow intensive cultivation, the olive grove spreads on al1 the hillsides up to the tops, dotting the flat areas with big or small stains that are often converted into pasture. Inthis way, it becomes in a compensation for the low productivity of the explotations located inthe area. Nevertheless during the last years the olive-growing space has continually los1 profitability to the farmer; also the difficulty un mechanizing some kinds of labours and the small property structure of explotations makes difficult to support it. From the actual sensibility we can assure that it is a piece of great landscape and agrological value thai must be preserved, it must be lavished the necessary steps to continuetheir cultivations. Nowadays it is living uncertainly moments maintaining itself in a precarious 1 balance, and depending on the development of the normative that is included in the revision of ACP (Agricultura1 Common Policy).Downloads
