Abstract

The installation of desalting plants of brackish waters is an urgent proposal from de Administration to obtain non conventional hidraulic resources in deficientt river basins of the Spanish par1 of the Iberian Peninsula. This paper analyzes this proposal and origin of water to treat in the basin of Segura river: the drainages of Canipo de Cartagena (Murcia).
