Abstract

In this paper we anlyze the effect of foreign immigration on the demographic dynamism in the regional population. Increase in the birth rate and fertility, effects on mortality, repercussions on vegetative growth. In this fi srt part (I) we analize the specifi c behaviour foreign immigrants have regarding different components in the natural growth of the population.
