Abstract
The rural districts in the inland areas oz Murcia are going throngh a complex situation characterised by a state oz relative underdevelopment, and given that the differences with coart are becorning more sharply accentuated, The Regional Administration, tahing advantage oz the new holiday tendencies and concerned that the rural environment shonld be pui to good use, is attempting to take this area out oz this ancient regresive process by means oz isnat is called in its legislation «inland tourism~a, formula which in fact tries to present all the variables oz Rural Area Tourism (R.A.T.) thongh it only goes half way. It is spawning mixed businesses capable oz managing the product efficienthy. But the legislation forgets the undesirable effects which every kind oz tounsen produces. A «leader» project is applied which in its logical desire to tachle the many problems ends up obsolete because oz the impossibility it in@ practice.Downloads
