LOBOS EN LA ORIHUELA FORAL (UNA VISIÓN DEL MEDIOAMBIENTE EN LOS SIGLOS XV AL XVIII)
Abstract
From the XV to the XVIII centuries, the inhabitants of Orihuela chased and hunted wolves and birds. The aim was to exterminate the predator and to give an end the disasters caused in the herds, following the ancestral fear recurrently brought out by tales and legends. Birds were slaughtered since crops would be shortened by boost up. The hunt was not only to restrain but to do away with unfair competitors. The history about environment should to point out not only the evidence of amendment and wreck in the nature but the anthropic linkage with the rest of species. The connection human beings had with wolves, birds and even rats throughout the aeon alluded gives a paradigm to investigate what should be taken into account in the fi eld of Humane Sciences.Downloads
